The Faculty has been running monthly seminars since compulsory CPD was introduced in 1996 and the current Programme can be viewed on this site. CPD events are open to all and the Booking Form for the latest seminar can be downloaded.
Unless the Programme states otherwise, Seminars are held in Strathleven House (which is situated in the Vale of Leven Industrial Estate on the western edge of Dumbarton) from 6pm until 8pm, with a substantial buffet being served from 5.30pm. Every two years, the Faculty holds a Criminal Law Conference, usually in the Beardmore Conference Hotel (part of the Golden Jubilee National hospital) in Clydebank. This is designed to give the 5 hours' CPD required by SLAB for those carrying out Criminal Legal aid work and the next Conference is due to take place in 2013.
